 Alphonse Nafack is a banker at the grassroots level and has been the general manager of Afriland First Bank for many years. This banking institution with majority Cameroonian capital claims a fifth of the local market share, with a total balance sheet of CFAF 1,150 billion at the end of 2019, which allows it to compete with multinationals on the national banking market. Afriland First Bank is also the main provider of financing to Cemac states on the Beac public securities market.

Since December 2015, Alphonse Nafack has officially become the president of the Professional Association of Credit Institutions of Cameroon (Apeccam). He is therefore the one who carries the voice of the 15 credit institutions operating in Cameroon. These institutions play a major role in the development of the local economic fabric, through financial assistance to economic agents.
